Jim Allison has led Capitol Corridor Intercity Passenger Rail's WiFi program since 2003 and been on the cutting edge of key business model and monetization efforts as technology has evolved. His leadership in this space has kept him in contact with peer transit operators worldwide, each developing their unique monietization path for their mobile IP-based networks. In addition to technology projects, he leads CCJPA's traditional rail planning department with the Vision Plan for rail in the Northern California Mega-region. Personal hobbies include bicycling, playing drums, recording and mixing music. He is married with two (12 and 9 year old) daughters.
